Q. Who are you guys?
A. You probably already know us. But just a reminder... We're GSi Media Network, founded and headed by producer/publisher Jeffrey D Brown. We built The Guitar Wall and many other media properties.
Q. Where is our dedicated wall served from?
A. Dedicated Guitar Walls are served from subdomains on theguitarwall.com. So, your wall address would be yourwall.theguitarwall.com. Other domains may be added in the future.
Q. Can our dedicated wall have our graphics or look and feel?
A. Yes. There are many ways we can dramatically integrate your look and feel into your wall. See The Big Walls section for some current examples.
Q. How long does it take install and implement a Wall?
A. Depending on our backlog, anywhere from a few days, to a few more days... but generally not very long at all. We'll let you know at the time.
Q. How do we add wall spaces to our Dedicated Guitar Wall?
A. Simple. You can take advantage of our Total Wall Management option... and we do it all for you... or...
We can give you a password-protected access account. You login to your wall management page... You can login and edit the wall spaces anytime.
You must adher to a few basic guidelines relative to the size and number of wall spaces as well as the quality of wall space artwork.
Q. Are the wall spaces all one size, or can they be several different sizes?
A. They can be different sizes, mixed and matched is fine. But there are some parameters that must be followed. The wall engine will not allow a wall space bigger than 400 pixels by 400 pixels.
Q. I noticed on the Demo Wall that when you mouse over a wall space a larger version of the image pops up along with a descriptive message. What's that all about?
A. The new wall engine we're using for Big Guitar Walls has this feature. You can upload a larger image into a smaller wall space and when you mouse over the wall space, the larger image pops up. This allows you to get more wall spaces on a wall (if you so choose) without sacrificing the larger image view. Since the engine reduces the image, the larger version should be the same proportions as the smaller wall space.
Q. How long can we keep the wall?
A. There is no time limit or expiration unless you want one.
Q. How do your charge for a Dedicated Guitar Wall?
A. Currently we charge a setup fee to build and customize the wall. Beyond that there could be other charges for custom work beyond what we normally provide and that is quoted as needed. All in all, we think you'll find it to be a very reasonable promotional investment.
Q. Can anybody get a Dedicated Guitar Wall?
A. Short answer is... No! A Dedicated Guitar Wall is definitely not for everybody... We evaluate the fit and determine if it's right for all parties.
